When replacing the windshield is the better solution

For motorhomes, replacing a windshield is often more complicated than for cars. This is due to the dimensions, the availability of the appropriate glass, and sometimes also to vehicle-specific designs. Nevertheless, replacement is the right way in many cases.

If the damage is in the line of sight, a crack has already formed, or the outer and inner layers of the glass are more severely damaged, one should not try to repair it at all costs. A new windshield of suitable quality ensures clear visibility and the necessary stability.

Proper bonding is also important. Especially for larger vehicles, the windshield must be precisely installed to ensure tightness, fit, and load-bearing capacity. Additionally, there is the necessary curing time until adhesives are safely hardened.
