Contact form
If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your information from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We do not share this data without your consent.
The processing of the data entered in the contact form is therefore carried out exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. A simple informal notification by email to us is sufficient for this. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data you entered in the contact form will remain with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions – especially retention periods – remain unaffected.
Referral Program (Commission for Referrals)
If you give us a tip via the referral form (/empfehlung) or share a personal referral link with a code, we process the following personal data:
- Advertiser data: First and last name, phone number, email address, language setting, IP address upon submission.
- Optional Advertised: Name and phone number of the person you are recommending to us – only if you provide this.
- IBAN and account holder: will only be collected once the commission has been earned by you (data minimization according to Art. 5 para. 1 lit. c GDPR). The input is made via a personal, cryptographically signed link from our confirmation email.
- Advertiser code: An automatically generated short code (e.g.
MAX-K7P3) that identifies you in the referral process. When you share your referrer link with URL parameter?ref=CODE, we set a technically necessary cookie (Name:ref) on the invited person's device with a duration of 30 days to associate the referral with your account.
Legal basis: The processing of your advertising data is based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) and for the initiation or fulfillment of the commission contract (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). If you enter data of the advertised person, we assume that you have obtained their consent. We use the data exclusively to make contact, assign the glass replacement order, and pay out the commission.
Self-Referral Protection: If the phone number or email address of the advertiser matches that of the advertised, we will automatically mark the process for internal review. An automatic rejection will not occur – an employee will decide on a case-by-case basis.
Storage: We will delete your advertiser data as soon as the recommendation is completed and the legal retention periods have expired. Booking-relevant data (payout date, amount, masked IBAN) will be retained in accordance with § 147 AO and § 257 HGB for up to 10 years. You can trigger an early deletion of your personal advertiser data at any time via the GDPR deletion button in your personal advertiser dashboard; the booking data will then remain pseudonymized.
Transfer: Your data will not be transmitted to third parties, except for our house bank in the context of the SEPA transfer of the commission.
4. Consent Management
Consent management
Your consent to non-essential cookies and third-party services is managed by our own solution, which is part of this website. No further provider is involved.
Storage: your decision is kept locally in your browser only and is not transmitted to us or to third parties. If you clear your browser data, you will be asked again.
Stored details: the categories you chose, the time of your decision and the version of the consent. No personal data is involved.
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c GDPR (legal obligation to obtain consent) in conjunction with § 25 TDDDG.
Retention: 12 months from your decision, after which we ask again. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Privacy settings” in the footer of every page.
5. Reach measurement
Our own statistics
We count which pages of our website are opened. The counting runs solely on our own server; no third-party service is involved and no data is passed on to other companies.
Stored are: the page path opened, the language version, the name of the website you came from (not the full address and not your search term), and the type of device (phone, tablet or computer).
Not stored are: your IP address, cookies, identifiers or any other feature that would allow several visits to be attributed to the same person. We count page views, not visitors.
As no access to your device takes place and no personal data arises, no consent is required for this. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in designing our website to meet demand (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention period: 24 months. After that the entries are deleted automatically.
6. Plugins and Tools
OpenStreetMap
We use the OpenStreetMap map service for the directions map. The provider is the OpenStreetMap Foundation, St John's Innovation Centre, Cowley Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WS, United Kingdom.
The map loads only once you explicitly allow it. Your IP address is then transmitted to the OpenStreetMap Foundation — without it the map could not be delivered. It is not evaluated for advertising purposes.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). Without your consent you see only a placeholder here and no data is transmitted.

Bewertungen aus unserem Google-Unternehmensprofil
Auf der Seite „Referenzen“ zeigen wir Bewertungen, die Kundinnen und Kunden in unserem Google-Unternehmensprofil geschrieben haben.
Diese Bewertungen ruft unser Server in festen Abständen über die Google Places API ab und speichert sie für die Anzeige zwischen. Ihr Browser baut dabei keine Verbindung zu Google auf: Beim Aufruf der Seite werden weder Ihre IP-Adresse noch andere Daten von Ihnen an Google übermittelt.
Die Profilbilder der Bewertenden binden wir bewusst nicht ein, weil Ihr Browser diese sonst direkt bei Google laden müsste. Stattdessen zeigen wir die Initialen. Erst wenn Sie einen Link zu Google anklicken, stellt Ihr Browser eine Verbindung dorthin her; es gelten dann die Datenschutzbestimmungen von Google.
